Our style is best described as open format, which means we're comfortable drawing from a wide range of musical genres, including pop, R&B, hip-hop, EDM, country, classic rock, soul, Motown, reggae, dancehall, Afrobeats, Latin music, and much more. More importantly, though, it's how we bring those styles together that defines our approach. We don't simply play one song after another. We create a seamless musical experience, blending genres, decades, and cultures with smooth transitions that keep the energy flowing naturally throughout the celebration.Our role is to read the room, understand the moment, and know when to build the energy or let it breathe. When the moment calls for it, we're not afraid to get on the microphone to encourage the dance floor, interact with your guests, and elevate the energy—but always in a way that feels natural and never distracts from the celebration itself. Every decision we make is guided by one goal: creating an atmosphere that feels effortless, keeps your guests engaged, and reflects the unique personality of your celebration.

Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it. One of the best ways for us to understand your musical taste is through a Spotify or Apple Music playlist. Sharing the music you genuinely enjoy gives us valuable insight into your style, your personalities, and the atmosphere you'd like to create on your wedding day.Your playlist becomes the foundation for planning the soundtrack to your celebration. From there, we combine your musical preferences with our experience, read the room throughout the event, and make thoughtful musical decisions that keep the energy flowing naturally while creating the best possible experience for you and your guests.

Do you take song requests from our guests?It depends on the couple. During our planning consultation, we'll discuss how you'd like us to handle guest requests. Some couples are happy for us to take requests throughout the celebration, while others prefer that we don't take requests at all. Whatever your preference, that's exactly how we'll approach it.At all times, we're on Team Couple. Our role is to deliver the experience you've envisioned for your wedding day.When guest requests are welcomed, we'll always use our professional judgment before playing them. If a request complements the moment, fits your musical preferences, and keeps the energy flowing naturally, we'll be happy to work it into the celebration. Sometimes that may be right away, while other times it may be later in the evening when the timing is right.In our experience, guest requests are actually quite rare. That's because we've already invested the time to get to know you, understand your musical preferences, and prepare for the people we'll be playing for. By the time your celebration begins, we're not guessing—we're already playing the music your guests are most likely to connect with.While we do our best to accommodate appropriate requests, we can't guarantee that every song will be played. Every decision we make is guided by one priority: delivering the experience you've envisioned while keeping the celebration flowing naturally from beginning to end.
